Relationships, Venus and the Saturn-Neptune square

The Saturn-Neptune square becomes exact at 10 degrees of Sagittarius-Pisces Sunday, September 11. This confusing, depressing and convoluted energy reaches a peak on this day. Saturn rules our structures and Neptune dissolves them.

While these two planets will still be in a square at 10 degrees through September 21, this will be the final pass of this energy. After September 21, the planets will begin to separate and the energies will start to lift. This will not happen overnight, but as time goes on situations will become clearer and be revealed for what they really are and we can find more solid footing in the future.

Any time this square is exact we can expect to see large events in the world and in our lives.

On the same day, Venus squares Pluto and on September 18, Venus will oppose Uranus. As the Neptune-Saturn square is exact, events can be significant in relationships. It is also significant the day before, Jupiter entered Libra, the sign ruled by Venus. The energy of this transit will be felt a few days before and it can extend to the day after.

Venus-Pluto transits lend themselves toward obsessiveness and compulsion in relationships. Many people want to delve deeper in a relationship and its cause and effect, and if this is the case (especially with retrograde Mercury and Saturn-Neptune) be prepared to hear the truth. Venus rules love and money and Pluto rules that which is dark and hidden as well as sex.  Jealousy, compulsiveness and obsessiveness can surface.

This transit can reveal facets of your relationship and yourself you may not have known existed. It can bring deep seated issues to the surface, and extreme behavior can result.

At its worst this transit is indicative of domestic violence and abuse and at its best a relationship can be transformed. But, more often than not this is not the case.

Add to this energy retrograde Mercury in critical Virgo, and the energy of the upcoming eclipse in Pisces which rules the 12th house, or the end of many things.

While you should not fear a transit, you should be aware of the potential. If you chose to delve into the problems/issues of your relationship, (or become a problem) it will take a strong one to withstand this energy. Neither however, should you be a doormat to someone's bad behavior.

On September 18, Venus opposes Pluto and this will result in sudden and unpredictable events in relationships.

Some relationships will end on these transits. Typically it would be those tottering on the edge, anyway.

These transits will play out in the world as well as our lives, and we will likely hear news concerning women, money, scandals and potential violence.
