Uranus enters Gemini July 7th
through November 8th
Uranus has been in Taurus since May of
2018. Like the other outer planets we will have a preview this year of what to
expect when the planet of the unexpected goes into the next sign or Gemini from
July 7-November 8th when it returns to Taurus for 5 more months. In April of 2026 Uranus will re-enter Gemini where it
remains for the next 7 years. Uranus spends 7 years in each sign and takes 84
years to go through the entire zodiac.
Uranus rules technology, freedom,
upheaval, explosions, aircraft, electricity and future advancements to name only a few. While in Gemini it will rule all forms of communication, travel and
commerce so we can expect changes in these areas.
While Taurus rules the 2nd
house of money with Venus as its ruling planet, Gemini rules the 3rd
house of communication, speech and thinking, and its planetary ruler is Mercury
the planet of communication. Uranus has not been comfortable in the sign of
Taurus and is considered at its fall
here which means the energy is not smooth, and the benefits Uranus are not so
strong. You might even say the planet can ‘misbehave’ if they are not
comfortable in their sign. Uranus is
comfortable in Gemini and neither at its fall or exaltation so the energy of
the planet will operate in an easier manner than it did in Taurus. Think about the number of disruptions and
crises we have experienced collectively since 2018.
The sign Gemini is associated with reason, logic, and
is always taking in new information. Certainly a large part of this transit
will concern AI and the transitions this will cause and create. There is
certainly a positive side to this but there will also be a down side. We will
face concerns over control, legislation and nefarious players in the world when
it comes to AI.
There is no doubt this will bring
social upheaval and renewal and revolution in trade, science, research and the
way we communicate. It will affect the intellect and make us more independent
thinkers and create different types of connections between people globally.
Uranus returns to Gemini every 84
years and was in Gemini during the following periods;
-1939-1945
-1861-1865
-1775-1783
Some astrologers associate
Uranus/Gemini with the US entering a period of war, and you can see from the
last and only 3 periods Uranus has transited Gemini since the birth of the US this has been the case. The conflict this transit will bring will be
a conflict of ideas as shown
by the symbol that represents Gemini; the twins or duality. We can already see
this playing out through politics.
The upside to Uranus entering Gemini
this time is the fact that it will
sextile Saturn, trine Pluto and sextile Neptune. This is not a
combination we have seen before and can only be beneficial and bring good
results in the world. These transits are not about war but rather new ideas,
inventions and new ways of approaching things on a global level. While some of
these transits have occurred I cannot find a time they have all occurred at
once. These aspects begin this summer but are even more powerful in 2026. While
this is happening we will have a preponderance of fire and air energy. Fire signs
like forward movement and action and air signs like intellect and reason.
Let’s look at the history of Uranus in
Gemini once again as it pertains to the US and the world.
-1775-1783 the conflict was between
the US and England. The colonies wanted the freedom to be self governing and
England wanted them to remain under control of the King.
-1861 marked the start of the Civil
war and the conflict of ideas concerned slavery.
-In 1939 Hitler began his invasion of
Poland and attempt at European domination.
I am not predicting war; this is simply
how Uranus in Gemini has played out in the past. During these periods we have also seen advancements in technology and collective thinking.
The US will experience its ‘Uranus
return’ which means that Uranus returns to its place in the US natal chart just
like we have experienced a Pluto return over the past few years. Uranus in the
US chart is at 6 degrees but in the strictest sense of the world the return
begins as soon as Uranus enters Gemini in a wide orb. The transit will be exact
June 2027 and December 2027-March of 2028. The aspect does not have to be exact
for events to occur and there will certainly be changes in the US. The 6th house rules national health, workers and the military.
Over the next 7 years Uranus will make
other transits in the US chart that include:
-It will sextile Venus, Jupiter and
the Sun (positive)
-Uranus will trine Saturn and the US
Moon (positive)
-Uranus will conjunct Mars and square
Neptune. This will be the most dangerous period 2031-32.
Uranus will affect us personally
How Uranus in Gemini affect you personally
depends on where it is in your own chart. Those who will be affected most will
be Gemini (Uranus conjunct Sun/ascendant), Sagittarius (Uranus opposes Sun),
Pisces and Virgo (Uranus squares Sun or ascendant) and these are all hard
aspects.
Of course if you have planets in these
signs in your chart you will also be affected.
If you are an Aries or Leo Uranus will
sextile your planets which is an easier aspect and if you have Libra or
Aquarius planets Uranus will trine your planets which is positive.
In hard aspect Uranus tends to disrupt
and bring about unexpected events that can involve change of all sorts, separations,
losses and disruptions while in easy aspect it coincides with unexpected
opportunities or gain that may seem to come out of nowhere.

house-spirituality, hidden matters, the subconscious mind, sometimes hospitals.

groups, organizations.
Virgo-10th house-career,
public persona, reputation.
Libra-9th house-education,
publishing, education, travel, world view.
Scorpio-8th house-other
people’s money, sex, taxes and debt, change and transformation.
Sagittarius-7th
house-partners and partnerships and opposing the sun can affect health.
Capricorn-6th house-work,
health, pets.
Aquarius-5th house of love,
friends, children.
Pisces-4th house-home, family,
basic foundation, parents.
