September 2019: Magic and madness!

A stellium of planets in Virgo will dominate the September sky the first half of the month. The fast moving planets, the Sun, Mercury, Venus and Mars are all in the sign that rules the sixth house of work and health. Virgo is the mutable and last sign of summer when the weather starts to change. Now is the time to enjoy what the earth has to offer in terms of gardening, landscaping, hiking and the likes as summer wraps up.

It is always easier and more productive to go with the flow instead of working against it. Virgo rules the 6th house of work and health and is a practical and logical sign and takes a systematic approach to all things, being hyperaware of every detail. Virgo is all about getting things exact and correct. Now is the time of the year to get your own house in order. When the fast moving planets go into Libra later this month things will change again. Virgo's planetary ruler is Mercury (also Gemini's ruler).Virgo is about sensory input while Gemini is more concerned with  outward expression. Virgo is naturally a perfectionist, and has the reputation of being critical. This is generally an attempt to keep things in order and running smoothly. But, with this many planets in Virgo things or people may seem to be more critical and demanding, or you could come across like this to others so watch your communication and interaction with others!

The September T-square
The Virgo planets will become part of a T-square that will last through mid-month.  A T-square is an aspect that involves three planets at 90 degree angles and their energies become combined. A square is stressful. It is a mutable t-square which means energies are very  changeable. The significant planets are Jupiter (expansion) and Neptune (illusion, delusion and confusion) and the Sun, Mercury, Venus and Mars will clash with these two. As each planet clashes in the t-square it will 'set off' the larger Jupiter-Neptune square that is in effect most of the year.
Jupiter square Neptune is one of the 10 major planetary cycles. It creates confusion, unclarity and decisions or issues around faith or spirituality can come into play on the world stage. For some, it can be a highly creative and compassionate period. There is magic in this transit but for some it will be fraught with confusion or lack of clarity. While some can prosper, it can also represent pie in the sky ideas and it is advisable to be careful about getting involved in anything that seems too good to be true.
As the t-squares form look to experience low energy, confusion and all things will not be what they may seem. You could experience significant dreams or intuitive, creative or spiritual experiences, but for others it could seem defeating. If so, don't take these feelings seriously as they will soon pass.
September 2-4 Venus joins the t-square. This will bring relationships and money matters to the forefront. Venus-Jupiter is typically positive, but Venus-Neptune can indicate a lack of clarity in love, money or values. On the positive side, for some it seem like a magical day.
Mercury is the second planet to join the t-square September 6-7. We can expect problems with communication (Neptune), unclarity or outright lies. Things may be blown out of proportion (Jupiter) and if they seem too good to be true they probably are. We could see extreme water related weather conditions at this time and throughout this month.
September 8-10 the Sun joins the t-square. Egos may come into play and so can insecurity. Communication can be problematic, and the bigger the ego, the harder the fall.
Mars is the last planet to join the t-square September 12-14. Action and communication may become confused and for some, the ego could take a hit.  This transit can lead to frustrated and confused action. The other side is spiritual, compassionate or creative action and my advice is to go in this direction as it is the more positive use of the transit.
How these transits affect you depend on where Neptune, Jupiter and the sign Virgo are located in your personal chart. You will be affected to a greater degree if you have mutable planets (Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius or Pisces) in your chart at 14-18 degrees.
The Sun enters Libra September 23, and this marks the Fall solstice (first day of fall) and we will have another stellium of planets in Libra as The Sun, Mercury and Venus will all be in this sign for the rest of the month. Energy will change and our focus will be about relationships and partnerships and people may seem more agreeable.
September 14, Mercury and Venus enter Libra.
Look for the energy to shift now and people will be more accommodating as Venus is at home in Libra. Mercury-Venus transits are upbeat and positive. Venus in Libra works well for Libra and all air signs and Libra often feels it's best. With the shift in energy we will start to move away from our focus on work and details and become more people and partnership oriented. The Sun enters Libra in the early morning hours of September 23, and fall officially begins and a new stellium of planet in Libra change the energies once again.

Saturn turns stationary direct September 18, at 13 degrees of Capricorn.
While retrograde, Saturn slows down the normal rate of activity so better methods can be developed and organized. Saturn rules the structures in our lives and allows us to develop our boundaries.
Wherever transiting Saturn is located in your personal chart is where you need more work to avoid feeling limitation in some way.
When Saturn is retrograde it is typically the most difficult period of the transit and it retrogrades every year for about four months.
As Saturn turns direct this can be good news for many issues and situations that have been stuck or in some way or unproductive will begin to move forward now and this is true for both the individual and the collective.  Saturn can represent a reality check in many areas of our lives and even in the world.
While Saturn was retrograde many problems were internalized that were cloudy and difficult to figure out, but now the problems will become clearer along with the solutions for change. Things will start to move forward on the world stage and in our lives.
Full Moon and New Moon
Pisces full moon
September's full moon, the last of the summer, falls on September 14-15, at 21 degrees of Pisces. Pisces is the most psychic and spiritual of signs, and rules the 12th house of endings so this full moon can relate to the finalization or end of many situations.
It forms a t-square with Jupiter, Neptune and the Sun and Venus. We will be pulled in many different directions at this time. It opposes Mars (frustration and anger) and Venus (money, relationships, values).

This moon will be ultra sensitive. As Pisces is ruled by Neptune we are dealing with the planet that dissolves boundaries. This is a perfect time for spiritual, psychic, creative or compassionate work.

If however, you feel emotionally vulnerable this moon can confuse, torpedo confidence or you could feel like you are drifting.

Addictions could prove to be problematic at this time.

Pisces is ruled by Neptune, the lord of the sea. Ocean tides run high and so do our internal tides. Neptune rules drugs and alcohol, theater, creativity, spirituality, and the seamy side of life. It is the planet of illusion, delusion and confusion. The symbol of Pisces is two fish swimming in different directions for a reason.

Of significance on this moon is the t-square involving Mars-Neptune-Jupiter over the next few days. Confusion can abound on a transit like this, and certain things can be revealed at this time. This will be a difficult transit in that it can be hard to get to the truth and all things may not be as they appear. Expect to see scandals in the world and water related weather situations. Mars-Neptune also rule gasses and chemicals. We could see police action or violence and events will not all be clear at this time. Use caution.

New Moon in Libra
A new moon falls on September 28, at 5 degrees of Libra. Libra rules the 7th house of marriage and partnerships, as well as courts and justice and it is here our interests will lie. This should be a positive moon as Venus sextiles Jupiter which is excellent for any kind of social activity, conversation, meeting or fun. With this many planets in Libra, most people should feel amenable to others.

Other significant days in September:
September 3, The Sun, Mars and Mercury all conjunct at 10 degrees of Virgo. This can be angry and stressful energy that can be indicative frustration or even accidents. It could affect travel and communication. Use caution.
September 21, the square between Jupiter and Neptune becomes exact and this energy is at a peak. Look to see events in the world play out around this time.
September 22, Mercury squares Saturn. This can be negative, tiring and frustration energy. If you feel blocked this will pass in a day or so,
September 25, Venus squares Saturn. Issues can arise in relationships or money. Not a great day for social events.
September 26, Mercury squares Pluto. Obsessive thinking could be a problem, as could arguments and accidents.

The Virgo stellium-it's personal

The current stellium of planets in Leo (Sun, Mercury, Venus, Mars) has begun shifting and a new stellium of planets form over the next several weeks in Virgo. Mars entered Virgo August 18, and it will be followed by Venus on August 21, and the Sun, August 23, then Mercury August 30. Welcome to the Virgo season!
While Leo is about drama, attention and fun, Virgo is an earth sign and the focus will shift to work, health and fitness. Virgo is the Earth sign of summer and marks the end of the summer season.
The fast moving planets(Sun, Mercury, Venus, Mars)   will remain in Virgo through mid September and a powerful aspect called a t-square will start to form at the end of the month, and be active through the week of September 16.
A t-square is an aspect that involves three planets at 90 degree angles and their energies become combined. In this case, it is a mutable t-square which means energies are changeable, and many situations will be subject to change at this time. The significant planets are Jupiter (expansion) and Neptune (illusion, delusion and confusion) and each of the fast moving planets will clash with these two. As the t-square, or clash occurs it will set off the bigger Neptune-Jupiter energy. This creates confusion, delusion and decisions or issues around faith or spirituality can come into play. For some, it can be a highly creative and compassionate period.
Neptune and Jupiter are currently in a square and will remain so most of the year. This square distorts things and situations on a world level and a personal level.
A new moon falls in Virgo August 30, which is when these planets will get caught up in the t-square with Neptune and Jupiter. Three of these planets are in their home signs making the t-square very powerful.
Neptune is in the sign it rules, Pisces.
Jupiter is in its own sign, Sagittarius.
Mercury is in (one) of the signs it rules, Virgo.
As these t-squares occur look to experience tiredness, confusion and all things will not be what they may seem. It can confuse, and on a deeper level there can be some magic in the clash. You could experience significant dreams or intuitive, creative or spiritual experiences.
September 2-4 Venus becomes part of the t-square. This will bring relationships and money matters to the forefront. Venus-Jupiter is typically positive, but Venus-Neptune can indicate a lack of clarity in love, money or values.
Mercury is the second planet to join the t-square September 6-7. Look for the energy to begin to play out in the days before these dates. We can expect problems with communication (Neptune), tiredness, and unclarity or outright lies. Things may be blown out of proportion (Jupiter) and if they seem too good to be true they probably are. We could see water related weather conditions
September 8-10 the Sun joins the t-square. Egos may come into play and so can insecurity. Communication can become a problem, and the bigger the ego, the harder the fall. Question all communication as it may be unclear.
Mars is the last planet to join the t-square September 12-14. Action and communication may become confused and for some, the ego could take a hit.  This transit can lead to frustrated and confused action. The other side is spiritual, compassionate or creative action and my advice is to go in this direction as it is the more positive use of the energy.
How these transits affect you depend on where Neptune (Pisces), Jupiter (Sagittarius) and Virgo are located in your chart. By and large the effects will create confusion and blockages. If you can tap into the Neptune energy and still remain grounded you could have some unusual experiences as Neptune also rules spiritual awareness. Dreams may be very vivid. You will be affected to a greater degree if you have mutable (Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius or Pisces) in your chart at 14-18 degrees.
These transits will play out in the world as well as our lives. We will see issues about politics, religion or faith based issues, weather issues and unclear circumstances. With Mercury we can expect communication issues, unusual weather conditions, accidents, issues concerning young people and travel.
With the Sun, expect political issues, scandals, unusual weather conditions.
With Venus expect issues concerning women, scandals, issues about values and money.
With Mars expect political issues, aggression, unclear circumstances and the potential is for violence or volatility.

The electric full moon August 15

This month's full moon falls at 23 degrees of Aquarius and the lunar peak occurs at 8:29AM, EST August 15. The energy is building at the time of this post and will be very powerful August 14th, the day before. Aquarius is about originality, shocks, independence and freedom. It is also about equality and humanity in general.

Expect to see excitability, drama and erratic behavior and circumstances. The Moon opposes the Sun, Venus and Mars all in Leo. Don't be surprised if things if things don't get quite heated later in the day/evening with the Moon's opposition to Mars. The Moon involves women, our emotions and family members, and Mars rules anger, upset and men to name a few.

While the Leo planets are flashy if not demanding of attention, Aquarius is typically cool and detached. As Jupiter provides a trine to the Leo planets we can expect to see vanity and egos on full display that get blown out of proportion. Now is the time to try a new and different approach to something.

That said, with Jupiter's positive trine the time is now to have some last minute summer fun as this is the last time we will see these Leo planets for a year. When the planets shift into Virgo in a few days this will be a major change in energy.

As Jupiter has just turned direct, its square to Neptune is also very powerful. This can show up as an idealistic, dreamy time with an interest in spiritual or creative matters OR it can manifest as delusion, illusion and confusion. If it seems to good to be true, it probably is.

Mercury is square Uranus at 6 degrees of Leo/Taurus, and this becomes exact August 16. This becomes part of the full moon energy and is prone to unexpected events and changeability. It could manifest as unexpected news, changeability, computer problems, issues with communication or young people. It is especially important to be cautious while driving as Mercury rules cars. Stay focused. Also watch your communication and sending emails.

This will affect everyone with a Uranus transit at 5-7 degrees and if you were affected by the new moon August 1, this will affect you as well, more than other people.

On the world stage expect to hear issues around communication, technology or hackings, and/or aviation or transport problems or accidents. The collective will be stirred up and there will be an element of the individual versus the world view or world structures. We will hear news of young women, finance and scandals. We could hear more sudden if not explosive, volatile and unexpected news. Uranus typically inclines toward shocking events.

Jupiter turns direct!

Jupiter has spent been retrograde since April 10. It turns stationary direct August 11, at 14 degrees of Sagittarius.
Jupiter is the planet of gain and expansion and is in its own sign-Sagittarius.

Wherever Jupiter moves through your chart is where you can expect gain.
Jupiter retrograde is a time of philosophic or spiritual reflection and issues concerning growth could become front and center. As Jupiter retrogrades economic growth could slow down, overall.  Any cracks in the economy or your personal financial picture will show up during this time.
The retrograde of Jupiter is the time to step back and look at the bigger picture and how you will approach things. It does not necessarily mean loss, but is more akin to working smartly and directing your actions along the most profitable and fortuitous lines.
Many things are ruled by Jupiter In addition to money and finances Jupiter rules courts/judiciaries, (world view/political viewpoints),  lawyers, foreigners,  and foreign  places, education,  religion, medicine, and younger men. All of these things can shift as the planet of expansion turns direct, and we will see these matters play out in the world and our personal lives.
We may well experience a new burst of optimism over the next few weeks, especially with the Sun, Venus and Mercury in Leo. If Jupiter turns direct in your personal chart in a positive angle you can expect to see positive things happen depending on what it is aspecting.
Jupiter will remain in the expansive sign of Sagittarius until December 2, when it enters Capricorn.
Uranus turns retrograde
On the same day Uranus turns retrograde at 6 degrees of Taurus. It will remain retrograde until January 11, 2020 when it turns direct again at 2 degrees of Taurus.
Uranus is the awakener, pushing us to do those things we struggle to confront, sometimes through unexpected shocks. Hard Uranus transits are often seen in breakups, divorce, sudden endings and many other significant life events. Uranus rules change, sudden change, unexpected events, shocks, explosions, coups, electricity, the internet and electronic media and aircraft, revolutions, independence and coups. It co-rules the sign Aquarius along with Saturn.
During its retrograde we may have more objectivity or a more level approach to things. It gives a chance to look objectively at what needs to be changed.
If you are experiencing a hard aspect-square, opposition or conjunction in your chart, you could experience some type of jolt or unexpected event as Uranus retrogrades. If it is in a sextile or trine, change will be smoother and easier. Expect change with Uranus as it retrogrades if you have Fixed planets (Taurus, Leo, Scorpio or Aquarius) at 4-8 degrees in your chart.
As Uranus retrogrades it often co-insides with major events in the collective and the world. We could see a sudden and unexpected event, especially around the full Moon which is in Aquarius August 15. On August 16, Mercury in Leo will square Uranus (exact) at 6 degrees of Leo/Taurus. We could see events and issues connected with the internet, internet hacking or theft, aircraft, computers, accidents, young people, communication and sudden and unexpected news.

Nixon, Watergate, the major transits and 2019

US President Richard Nixon resigned August 9, 1974, 45 years ago this month. To this day, it is a pivotal point in US history, as Nixon was the only President thus far, to leave office under threat of impeachment. He resigned to avoid being impeached and removed from office.

His resignation stemmed from the Watergate burglary of the Democratic headquarters that took place June 17,1972 and his subsequent attempts at cover ups and obstruction.

The Watergate Scandal and details of it unfolded to the public over a two year period during which there was an investigation and many unexpected twists and turns.

Many planetary aspects came into play over the period while Nixon was investigated.  In the interest of brevity I am only going to talk about the most important ones, and key points in the Nixon investigation, as well and the similar transits affecting us in 2019-20.

I think it is significant to point out the corruption of the Nixon administration started before the Watergate burglary in 1972.

July 1, 1971, there was a memo written suggesting the formation of the White House plumbers a covert special investigations unit whose task was to stop or respond to the leaking of classified documents.

In August of that year 'Nixon's enemies list' was started by White House aides to use Federal resources to harm or discredit Nixon's political enemies.

At this time, Saturn had entered Gemini and began its opposition to Neptune in Sagittarius. Saturn seeks structure, control, regulations, law and order but Neptune is the planet of illusion, delusion, confusion and lies. It can encourage devious, underhanded and subversive and depressing tactics. As these planets clash smoke and mirror effects can occur. Neptune  rules religion and this combination can promote a type of paternalistic/ materialistic system.

(In 2015-16 Saturn in Sagittarius was square Neptune in Pisces-we now know that Russia hacked into the voting systems of all 50 states in the US and was responsible for influencing Facebook users with thousands of ads peddling propaganda and fake news stories. With a transit like this many can end up suffering from 'buyer's remorse so to speak. This is a period can usher in political changes and reforms, and these planets can dissolve whatever has become crystallized and stands as collective stability).

By early 1972, the Plumbers, were assigned to the Committee to Re-Elect the President, The Plumbers wanted more projects and apparently this started the train of events that led to the Watergate break-ins a few months later. This narrative was confirmed in the famous "Cancer on the Presidency" conversation between Nixon and White House Counsel John Dean on March 21, 1973.

By the time of the actual Watergate break in Saturn was still within an 8 degree orb of Neptune. Major transits like this influence events in the world over a large span of time, often years.

In 1973 Richard Nixon was a highly regarded president and won reelection in the largest landside in American history. The “Saturday Night Massacre” would change his popularity.

Saturn moved into the sign Cancer and was was square Pluto in Libra by July of 1973. This is the most significant transit of the time. Pluto represents power and control, abuse of power as well as the power of the masses, forces of elimination, totalitarian politics, fanaticism. "It can indicate a need to purge the body politic of old, deep rooted problems. Constellated in a leader it can awaken compulsive instincts for power and dominance."-Nicholas Champion

Saturn represents the rules and structures that we are all governed by. This transit became exact in September and October of that year. Saturn in Cancer is also significant on its own as the United States is a Cancer country. This Saturn cycle would be a time of testing in the US.

(At the time of this post we are under a Saturn-Pluto transit again. Saturn is conjunct Pluto in Capricorn and it becomes exact in January of 2020. It will involve the US Presidency and abuse of power among other things. Saturn-Pluto transits are also associated with war, crime, abuses and the darkest elements of human and collective nature. It can also represent repression, restriction and financial limitation and/or or extreme gain by the strongest in society. In 2019 we are experiencing  an increase in mass murders associated with the White Supremacy or White Nationalist movement and it is not limited to the US. The critical phase can lead to seeing things in black and white where only extreme measures will suffice. There is often a need in society to get 'back to the basics.')

One of the more significant moments that lead to the impeachment articles was on October 20, (1973) when Nixon ordered his Attorney General to fire the special prosecutor of the Watergate investigation, Archibald Cox. Cox had subpoenaed recordings from the White House that Nixon believed would incriminate him. The AG refused to fire Cox, as did his chief assistant, and resigned instead. Nixon continued on until he found someone down the line who would fire Cox, and this became known as the Saturday night massacre.

At this time the Saturn was square Pluto at 4 degrees of Cancer-Libra. Pluto was also squaring Venus and Jupiter in the US natal chart. Jupiter rules the legal system and laws.

By March of 1974, another significant transit occurred as Jupiter entered Pisces and squared Neptune in Sagittarius.  Pisces is ruled by Neptune the planet that distorts and confuses and was very powerful in its square with Neptune, one of its ruling planets. Neptune can be politically unrealistic and tied to devious methods. Jupiter expands whatever it touches, good or bad. This combination produces smoke and mirrors, lies and things are frequently not as they appear. Many people are scammed on a transit like this. This transit has an ideological quality to it. Religious belief systems often play a role in this period, or alternatively spiritual and metaphysical systems.  It precipitates actions to fight particular ideas, and can indicate an economy of boom or bust.

(Throughout the majority of 2019, Jupiter in Sagittarius is square Neptune now in Pisces In 2015-16 Jupiter in Virgo opposed Neptune in Pisces)

During July,1974 three articles of impeachment against Nixon were approved for obstruction of justice, abuse of power, and contempt of Congress.

Cox was replaced by Leon Jaworski, who became the second special prosecutor and the subpoena for the tapes from the Oval office stood.

After a major outcry On November 17, Nixon gave his famous speech, claiming "I am not a crook."

The White House tapes were released in July, 1974 implicating Nixon in the cover-up. At this point, there was no saving his Presidency.

Nixon resigned and left office rather than face impeachment on August 9, 1974.
On that infamous day Saturn was conjunct the Sun in the US natal chart at 13 degrees of Cancer. The Sun rules the President or highest government official.

(Saturn is currently in Capricorn the opposite sign of Cancer. During September 2019, Saturn will oppose the US Sun. It is highly possible there will be an impeachment inquiry when Congress re-convenes at that time. If not, the tides of the collective and the government will continue to turn against the 45th President. Saturn opposed the US Sun in January, 2019. At this time the US President came under heavy fire for shutting down the government. It was re-opened only when the FAA stated they could no longer guarantee flight safety. This will be another time of testing in the US.)

Saturn will conjunct Pluto in January 2020. The US will face a major crisis if not more than one and no doubt the US Presidency along with other major events in the world. This combination will continue through 2020 and the US will face what many politicians are calling a 'fight for the soul of the country.' This is the most volatile and restrictive transit since the last Pluto-Saturn conjunction which occurred in 1981-82 in Libra. Those years saw many global changes and the rise of AIDS. We have not seen Saturn-Pluto in Capricorn since 1517. That year German scholar Martin Luther disagreed with the Catholic Church and was eventually ex-communicated. Thus began the Protestant reformation, and the years of bloodshed that followed. If you are not familiar with this time, the Pope was the authority in Europe, both on a political and sometimes a military level. This was a significant event in history that changed the world. During 2020-21 America will also experience its Pluto return. Pluto was last in Capricorn at the time of the American revolution.

Three mass shootings and the astrology behind them

22 people were killed in El Paso August 3rd, and less than 13 hours later another mass shooting occurred leaving 9 people dead in Dayton, Ohio. The previous weekend, July 28, there was a mass shooting at a garlic festival in Gilroy, California that left 4 people dead. Numerous people have been injured, and the shooters in Gilroy and El Paso have been tied to White supremacist/white nationalist groups and that ideology. As of this post 35 souls have left this earth as a result of these three domestic terror attacks, making it a deadly week in America. This astrology is complex, and for the sake of brevity I will try and sum up the most significant transits.

First of all, we are in a difficult period as Saturn is conjunct Pluto in Capricorn. This is a dangerous and stressful time, and these two planets  become exact, January of 2020. The things we have seen since May- July will be amplified in January 2020 and I have come to the conclusion as I have watched the transits and the summer eclipses that if we do not get a grip on these groups and the number of weapons of war in the hands of those who are willing to kill, by January 2020 the problem (among other things) will be amplified to a crisis point. This is not only a problem in America but other countries as well.
Saturn-Pluto periods coincide with upheaval, crime, abuse of power, wars and attacks, and major global and geo-political changes. A transit like this occurs roughly every 38 years or so. This transit will continue to dominate the sky and in particular America's natal chart throughout 2020.
Saturn conjunct Pluto in Capricorn has not occurred since 1517. That year, German scholar Martin Luther disagreed with the Catholic Church and was eventually ex-communicated. Thus began the Lutheran Church and the Protestant reformation, and the years of bloodshed that followed. If you are not familiar with this time, the Pope was the authority in Europe, both on a political and sometimes a military level. This was a significant event in history that changed the world. America last experienced its Pluto return, or Pluto in Capricorn at the time of the American revolution.
America's natal chart
I use the Sibly chart for the US which has a Sagittarius ascendant. That means the second house is Capricorn and the 8th house is Cancer. Mercury lies in the 8th house. The 8th house rules death and national mortality, and Mercury rules speech and communication and young people.
The eclipses of July were significant falling in the 2nd and 8th houses. The lunar eclipse of July 16, (24 degrees in Capricorn) opposed the 8th house showing us we would hear of a significant death/deaths of significance. On July 16, former Supreme Court justice John Paul Stevens passed away at 99. As Mercury was also retrograde at that time, events connected to the eclipse could be delayed, and the energy of an eclipse is very powerful for the next month.
August 3rd, Mercury moved to 24 degrees of Cancer, setting off what is called the 'eclipse point' as it opposed Capricorn at 24 degrees, bringing up events that are connected to the eclipse. Mercury opposed Mercury in the 8th house of death in the US natal chart, showing us death connected to young people. The shooters are all young males.
Sun, Venus and the Moon
The week of July 28, was bound to be a difficult one. It started July 28, as the Sun squared Saturn and 4 people died when a mass shooter killed 4 people at a garlic festival in Gilroy, Tx. Sun-Uranus transits can relate to explosive circumstances including violence.
The New moon July 31, (supermoon) fell at 8 degrees of Leo, and it squared Uranus as well. Uranus often relates to explosive situations and violence.
Lastly, Venus squared Uranus August 3, the day before the two last mass shootings. Venus-Uranus also can coincide with market fluctuations and we have seen a significant drop in the stock market as well.
Mercury will square Uranus on August 16, on the heels of a full moon in Aquarius. We could see unexpected events again.
The timing of the Moon and the El Paso shootings
As news of the El Paso shooting was breaking on the networks, I glanced at the chart and saw the Moon in Virgo was opposing Neptune (in Pisces). Due to the moon placement I knew this shooting was probably carried out by someone with mental issue or who held or some type of ideology not supported by society, or both. As it turns out the shooter was concerned about an 'invasion' of immigrants coming through Texas. He left an essay on his beliefs before he carried out the shooting. We have seen this Moon placement before along with other significant aspects occurring in these types of attacks. The Moon opposes Neptune once a month, and this alone is not enough to be connected to a violent event, and it typically is not.
These are not all of the transits relating to these shootings, but they seem the most significant.
May the victims and the injured, their family and friends all find peace.
