The new moon
falls at 27 degrees of Pisces on March 17. This moon squares Mars at 29 degrees
of Sagittarius and Chiron.
Some of you
may recall the energy of Mercury and Venus (in Pisces) as they squared Mars February 25-28. Those were volatile
days for many, and this New Moon looks stressful as well. With its square to
Chiron we may be dealing with some type of
deep seated emotional issues that have not been resolved, or come back
up. Contacts with Chiron frequently
reveal chinks in our armor, so to speak of the deepest personal nature.
Moon-Mars
relates to emotional issues and issues with women. Some people are going to be upset.
Others are going to feel they must or are sacrificing
something, especially when it comes to relationships. This square
represents something that should be dealt with, that you may prefer to avoid.
Mars
however, rules men and issues may relate to or come from men and there could be
sexual themes that can occur in our lives and in the collective as well. Who
knows what scandal will erupt next, right?
There will
be clashes between the sexes and the energy at this time is not well balanced
between men and women.
Pisces energy
also dissipates and dissolves things, and Pisces rules the 12th house of things
secret and hidden, some of which may come to light on this moon. The 12th house
also represents endings, that can occur of many types.
This isn't
all bad as squares bring change and the Moon is supported by Jupiter and Pluto
which will be of some help. Also Mercury and Venus are closely aligned and this
can lighten the day and be more cheerful.
Mars leaves
Sagittarius for Capricorn within hours of this moon where it will transit through
mid-May. While Mars is at 29 degrees, it is a critical degree, that is things
and events of significance can occur.
