Predicting love, yes we Can: Summer 2016

An astrological reading can predict all major life events including relationships.

Of course, each natal chart is different, and there may be mitigating factors to consider in your personal chart, but we can easily predict the times the various Sun signs have greater luck in finding that someone special.

Mars along with Venus are the day to day rulers of your love life. When Mars or Venus go into a sign that's favorable to you, your chances of meeting someone special increase as well as social activity in general.

When Mars and Venus are in the same sign and it happens to be your Sun sign or in your 5th or 11th houses of love affairs, or friends, hopes and wishes watch out! This time is extra special to you, as this duo doesn't dance often, and relationship opportunities will be at an all time high.

While the planets of love don't occupy the same sign in 2016, Venus and Mars are still the significators of love and when in a compatible sign greatly enhance your chances of finding love. If you are already in a relationship it can be enhanced with Venus and Mars, but as is always the case many other things (in your personal chart) can affect your relationship as well.

If you know your ascendant-use that instead of Sun sign. Otherwise use your Sun sign.

Mars retrogrades 4-17 through 6-29. Mars rules men and sometimes relationships go through change during this time. Relationships can end if they are not stable, slow down or experience change on some level. Retrograde planets are karmic in nature and often we experience frustrations, delays, and even endings. If your relationship is stable it should not end due to a retrograde Mars. As Mars rules action, if you begin a new relationship on a retrograde Mars, the love energy may not be expressed entirely, or it can change when Mars goes direct.

Retrograde Mercury-this occurs 3 or 4 times a year and Mercury retrogrades April 28-May 22. Slowdowns and delays can occur as well as breakups, but again, not if your relationship is stable. Sometimes we can reconnect during this period with those from the past but there is no guarantee.  Retrograde Mercury is a wild card as is retrograde Mars.

April 2016-Venus remains in Aries through April 29. Venus in Aries works well for Aries, Gemini, Leo, Libra, Sagittarius,  and Aquarius. It is best for Aries and Sagittarius as it transits Sag's 5th house of love affairs.

Mars retrogrades in Sagittarius the rest of April and until May 27. Mars in this sign works best for the fire signs-Aries, Leo, Sagittarius, and best for Leo as it transits their fifth house of love.

May 2016-Venus enters Taurus on April 29-May 23. Venus in your own sign is when you look and feel your best, so of course this works well for Taurus. Also good for the earth signs-Virgo, and Capricorn and good for Water signs-Cancer, Scorpio, and Pisces. Best for Capricorn as it transits your fifth house of love. On May 23, it moves into Gemini.

Mars continues its retrograde in Sagittarius-see above. On May 28, Mars retrogrades back into Scorpio where it works well for the Water signs.

June 2016-Venus remains in Gemini through June 16. This is great of course for Gemini, Leo, Libra, Sagittarius, and Aquarius. Best for Gemini and Aquarius as it transits the fifth house of love. On June 17, Venus moves into Cancer, so of course this period Cancer should look and feel their best.

Mars continues its retrograde in Scorpio, working well for water signs especially, and best for Cancer as it transits the fifth house of love. Mars turns direct on June 29, and if this goes direct on a significant planet in your chart, the results could be positive.

July 2016-Venus remains in Cancer through  July11, at which point it moves into Leo July 12. Great for Leo, Libra, Sagittarius, Aries and Gemini. Venus in Leo is the sign of the showman or royalty and Leo should thrive. Great for Aries  as it transits the fifth house of love.

Mars remains direct in Scorpio, helping water signs, especially Cancer.

August 2016-Venus remains in Leo through August 4. On August 5 it moves into Virgo. This is great for Virgo, also Taurus, Cancer, Scorpio, Capricorn, and Pisces. Best for Virgo and  Taurus as it transits your fifth house of love.

Mars re-enters Sagittarius, August 3. Mars in this sign works best for the fire signs-Aries, Leo, Sagittarius, and best for Leo as it transits their fifth house of love.

September 2016-Venus enters Libra August 29, which is great for Libras through September 23.This works best for Gemini as it enters the 5th house of love. Also good for Aries (7th house of partners), Leo, Sagittarius, Aquarius.

Mars remains in Sagittarius through September 27. Mars in this sign works best for the fire signs-Aries, Leo, Sagittarius, and best for Leo as it transits their fifth house of love.

On September 10, Jupiter enters Libra for the next year. Libra is the sign ruling marriage and partnerships, and there will be a greater overall focus on love! This should be a significant year for Libra as this only occurs once every 12 years. Other signs that can benefit include Aries (Jupiter in 7th house of marriage), Gemini, Leo, Sagittarius, and Aquarius.
